Thank you for your consideration in joining Tuathade!
Please follow these guidelines for applying.
Generally, we're looking for social, active players who are outgoing enough to answer any call for help (and also outgoing enough to chat regularly). We're also looking for players who aren't afraid of a challenge. We believe that in order to succeed, you must be able to overcome adversity and rise to the occasion. We can help you succeed, yes, but we cannot succeed FOR you.
The application process goes as follows:
-receive an invitation to apply or contact us through membership to apply. If you're going to apply, we ask that you take into consideration that this process will take some time. Do not agree to apply if you cannot commit to the trial procedures.
-Applying to the Guild
register on this forum site using your IN GAME NAME, and check back frequently for account activation. Once your account has been activated, complete the formal
Guild Application as well as submitting your in game application with the information specified in the guild application. Once completed, you will be move onto the guild trials. There are two tiers of trials.
-Tier 1 Trials: Council trials
You will be tasked by each council member to undergo their their trial. Once you have completed these trials, council members will bid for your membership, provided at least one of them feels you'll be a good match for us. If you receive more than one bid, you will then need to choose one of the council members' bids. Once you have accepted your bid, you will move onto the second tier trials with the squad leaders. If you do not receive any bids, then unfortunately, we felt you would not be a good match for our guild.
-Tier 2 Trials: Squad Leader trials
As with council trials, each squad leader will task you with a trial. Upon completing these trials, squad leaders will bid for your membership. If you receive more than one bid, you will then need to choose one of the squad leader's bids. Once you have accepted a bid, you will be placed into that squad.
These trials provide opportunities to interact and familiarize applicants and the guild. The trials are meant to be challenging to the applicants. This provides us the opportunity to see how you fit into the guild, and how we fit with you. We do not discriminate against skill level, character level, or talent rank. The trials are merely an assessment of your playstyle and personality.
-30 Day Probation Period
All applicants must complete a 30 day probation period before they are officially accepted into the guild, beginning from the date which you submitted your application to the forums. It is during this time that you will complete your trials. Please be aware that completing both tier 1 and tier 2 trials, and being placed into a squad do not guarantee membership until after the 30 day period is complete. It is advised that you remain active during the probation period. Barring emergency situations, inactivity lasting longer than a week, without prior notice, will cancel your application and you will have to redo the entire process if you wish to reapply. This may or may not affect your reapplication and is at the absolute digression of the council. It is also advised to read through our
Policies and Procedures, as well as adhere to our
Code of Conduct.
We want to get to know you, and befriend you. We're looking for open minded people who want to get to know us and befriend us too. That is the main goal for the trial procedure, and the overall goal of being in this guild. Regardless if you pass or fail them, we're mostly looking for how you'll interact with us on a regular basis.
Upon a successful vote, you will be inducted into the guild with the "Ashes to Ashes" ceremony. It symbolizes the end of the recruitment period and gives us all a chance to party! AMENDED: as of the guild reformation of December 2016, this ceremony only applies in the event that the guild leader's premium service is currently inactive.
Please refer to our
Recruitment Policies for more information.
Good luck in your application!
